HIGH POINT, N.C., May 25, 2017 – Celebrating the 55th home textiles market with show sponsor, Crypton Fabric, Summer Showtime 2017 is set for June 4-7. Please note that the hours of the show have changed. The show now opens at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 4 and closes at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7.
As always, there are many networking opportunities at Showtime, giving attendees and exhibitors a chance to relax, mingle and network in an informal atmosphere. Events are free to all, and welcome everyone.
International Market Centers will be sponsoring the International Pavilions reception from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, and Tuesday, June 6 at Market Square Showrooms 204 and 240. Enjoy drinks and meet new sources, and qualify future partners and suppliers.
On Monday, June 5, ITA will be hosting the SHOWTIME Tailgate. The event will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Market Square Courtyard and is open to all buyers and ITA members. There will be live music, craft beer, farm to table eats and corn hole. Please make plans to join us for a great event sponsored by De Leo Textiles, Gum Tree Fabrics, Moore & Giles, and IMC/Market Square.
On Tuesday, June 6, ITA will be hosting “Tuesday in the Suites” from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m at SMS 1-736. Come and enjoy the ice cream bar with fellow Showtime attendees! Happy Hour begins at 4:00 p.m. and will feature live music. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss this afternoon treat sponsored by IMC/Market Square.
Showtime attendees will also have the opportunity to attend presentations by The Trend Curve and Moore & Giles.
The first presentation is “Trends Mean Business”, brought to us by Michelle Lamb from The Trend Curve. The newest hues expected to be in play over the next 2-3 years will be unveiled, pointing out which families are trending up and which ones are in decline. This presentation will be held on Monday, June 5, at 10:00 a.m.
Our second educational seminar, “Leather in Today’s World” will be on Monday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m. Whitney Tinsley, from Moore & Giles, will be going over the leather industry and its history, how leather is made, and leather sourcing.
All presentations will take place on the top floor of the Suites at Market Square in space 1-1016.
